If you passed the real estate broker licensing examination in another state, the National Section of the Oregon exam may be waived if: (1) the exam was taken after November 1973 and (2) the license held from that exam has not been expired for more than one year. A certified licensing history from the state licensing agency where the license was held must be provided for review before a decision on a waiver can be made.
Oregon no longer has a salesperson license category. We license all real estate agents as brokers. Therefore, a salesperson exam cannot be used to meet Oregonīs exam requirement.
