I was offered a teaching job in Az. and I live out of state. I am moving there and I am 6 months preg. and I don't know what the law says about having to tell them, they did not ask, they interviewed me and offered me the job baised on my merits but I did not tell them at the interview because I thought they would not offer the job because of it. What do I need to do now? Help

Pregnancy has a way of making itself known. It's not something you're going to be able to keep a secret once you are there, particularly if you're already six months along.

It would have been illegal to refuse to hire you because of your pregnancy. While you cannot legally be fired BECAUSE you are pregnant either, I wouldn't be particularly thrilled if I hired a new employee only to find that she was going to need a significant leave only three months later. So my advice would be to let them know up front. Better that you give them fair warning than that they be blindsided.
