I work in a setting where there are professional Medical Staff and regular status employees. Is the following maternity leave policy leagal?
Professional medical staff: Upon hire date: 6 weeks paid leave and can take up to 3 months off.
regular status staff: Upon hire date: 2 weeks paid, but can take off up to 3 months. If you have worked for the company for more than 4 years you get 4 weeks paid and can take off up to 3 months, more than 6 years you get 6 weeks paid and can take up to 3 months off.
To me it sounds fair, but is is leagal?
