Worked for 10 years ++ job grew to point of Overwhelming. Had health concerns, learning disbilities and learning disabled child which added to stress of job. Worked OT, days off, late nghts then something snapped and I just couldn't do it anymore. I went to my boss and explained everything which I had kept in as best I could. She understood and agreed that I could work 9-2 . ANd that she had someone in mind for my position. the new person came on June 5th .I signed my son up for summer camps, paid deposits and was ready to start my summer hours, I received a document that I was to work ONLY 3.5 hrs a day M-thurs at a dollar less an hour. I feel she is trying to force my hand to get me to quit so I cannot collect BUT I cannot live on just that amount.
what do i do?

I know this isn't what you want to hear, and I'm not unsympathetic, but unless you have a bona fide employment contract that guarantees you XX number of hours per day/week, the employer is not prohibited from decreasing your hours. Sorry.
