Ok, so I realize we signed a year lease. But hey life changes and there should be some way we can get out of our lease. I realize there would be a penalty. But our landlords are making no exceptions. I guess they have 250 empty homes and cant afford to let us out of our lease. Is it lawful to not offer us some option. Of course other than paying the rest of our lease. I was looking over our lease and no where does it say we have any option to get out. Iv'e been researching other leases and it seems as though there is a penalty to get out of a lease, like losing down payment and 1 months rent. We live on a military base, but the housing is privatised. So its ran by a housing management. Well we are military, so I dont know if that makes a differece in them not having to offer us an out. It just doesn't seem fair that we have no options.
