Again, writing on behalf of my boyfriend who filed pro se for cusody papers. Being that the respondent just went back to school, she cut back on her job hours at work. Therefore, my boyfriend, the petioner, ismost likely going to be required to pay 86% of the child support, while she pays only 24%. Can we impute her income in this case, or no because she cut hours before the initial papers were filed?

Also, what if my boyfriend wanted to return to school? Is there a way to make an addition to the papers, being that the court date has not yet been set? Is there any way he would be able to go back to school, and have the child support lowered for that fact??

Her income MAY be imputed to reflect what she is able to earn. Which is why quitting a job to go to school, will not lower your boyfriend's support.
