My HR department asked me to fill out FMLA paperwork due to my being out becausee of a difficult pregnancy. I sent the paperwork to my doctor and the nurse called me to help her fill out the certificate and I didnt know how to fill it out. Its so incomplete and I need help?
Ive been out because Ive been so sick, bleeding, and cramping can someone help me so I can be sure I qualify for the intermittant leave FMLA.
where can I find the law on FMLA in texas?

FMLA is not a state law, but a federal one and the site doesn't explain how to fill out the certification. Your provider should know how to fill this out and if they don't they are really self-explanatory. Talk to your HR representative if you or your provider are having problems

Well we filled it out the best we could, one problem though it states no lifting no pulling, and HR says they have nothing for me with those restrictions. So am I fired or what? What happens next? I have been bleeding and cramping and the doctor wants me not to lift... please help.

Your employer does not have to make up work for you within your restrictions. But no, you are not fired. The whole point of filling out the FMLA paperwork was for you to be able to take protected medical leave when you are unable to work.

Well she put these restrictions for the entire length of my pregnancy, FMLA only lasts 12 weeks (3 months) well I have 6 more months to go. Also do you know if I qualify for STD while Im out with these restrictions because my employer has nothing for me??? Thanks for your help

That depends on whether your employer offers a STD policy and if so, what the eligiblity requirements are. STD benefits are not mandatory in your state so it's going to depend entirely on whether your employer offers anything.

I realize that FMLA is only 12 weeks. That does not change the fact that your employer has no legal obligation to create a job for you that is within your restrictions.
