I watched the Passionate Eye - Return to Sender last night and thought that
it was a well balanced look at:

1. An adoption gone bad - with the adoptive parents breaching both the
law of Ontario, as well as all moral rules by simply abandoning the child
without reason.

2. How rich doctor can be as much of an asshole as anyone else.

3. How adoptive parents going to a country in chaos and harvesting
children from poor parents can cause great grief all around.

In this case a 17 year old driver/translatort turned into a baby broker,
taking two children from a single mother with a family of eight children,
and turned them over to one adoptive father, who took the infant, and
delivered the 9 year old daughter to her adoptive parents, who kept her for
a few months and then unceremonoiously dumped her back in Romania. When
returned to Romania the child became a stateless citizen, and still is to
this day.

I do think that some lawyer should be suing the adoptive parents for
damages. He is in the Excited States. There must be a jury there waiting to
award a few million dollars in damages.
