My daughter works at a local resturant and recently they were advised that all female servers must take a break after working 6 hours and all males after working 8 hours.
Isn't that gender discrimination and what can be done if it is?

Employers are prohibited from establishing policies with a disparate impact on one sex at the expense of another, and based on the facts you've presented above, it sounds like you are dealing with a gender discrimination issue.
