Child Abduction Amber Alert Issued


Atlanta Ga--Macon Police are searching for an armed and dangerous man who
abducted a 14-year-old girl.

Macon Police are searching for a 39-year-old Macon man that forced his way into
the residence of 3004 Audubon Drive in the North Macon area.

Macon Police are looking for Michael Dewitt Hightower and 14-year-old Kendralyn
Radford.

Kendarlyn Radford is described as a bi-racial 14-year-old female, 4 feet 8
inches in height, 120 pounds, brown eyes, and a birth mark on her left eye.
Hightower took Kendralyn Radford in a 1997 White 4-door Chevrolet Lumina
displaying Georgia tag 3899ASC.

The vehicle is possibly covered in tree sap. The vehicle frequents the area of
Forest Avenue and Third Avenue in Macon, but will possibly be traveling to the
Atlanta and/or Savannah area.

Hightower forced his way into the side entrance of the residence and forcibly
took 14-year-old Kendralyn Radford from her adoptive parents' home. During the
incident Hightower struck an elderly resident over the head and took his wallet
and keys.

Michael Dewitt Hightower is described as a black male, 6 feet 3 inches in
height, 180 pounds, brown eyes, and low cut black hair. Hightower is the
husband of Kendralyn Radford's biological mother. Hightower should be
considered Armed and Dangerous. He is reported to be armed with a handgun.
