Family of man shot by Vista deputy sues county

VISTA -- The parents of an Escondido man shot and killed during a spate of
sheriff's deputy-involved shootings last summer in Vista have filed a
federal wrongful death lawsuit against the San Diego County, a sheriff's
deputy and the former captain of the Vista Sheriff's Station.
