Delay childbirth until you can support your offspring

My heart goes out to single young mothers with children, especially when they
have to live on welfare or on mom's minimal wages. But then I would like to ask
the mothers, what was your hurry to have children? We all know what causes us
to have children, and we also know how to postpone having them.

Why not wait, go to school and learn a trade in order to give yourself and your
children a better life? It's harder the other way around. Even birds first
build a nest.

Having marketable skills and a decent salary will do wonders for your
self-esteem, and you will be less likely to settle for useless boyfriends who
may mistreat you all. You don't deserve that.

If you care what happens to your baby but are unable to take good care of it,
do not keep it and subject it to abuse and neglect, which leave permanent
scars. Be unselfish and give that baby to adoptive parents who will cherish it.
Do that before the damage is done.

Love yourself and your children and your future children and let wise choices,
not chances, rule your lives.
