You're lucky. Most aren't showing up for me at all. I've had to go to google to
find Kathy1's response to two of only three posts I made over the holidays and
while there discovered several other individuals have gone missing, as well. I
have not been able to see Rupa's posts for years, I only know they are there
when someone quotes her. Jackie was gone until she took a new screen name. And
this with no any action (you know, like blocking) on my part - my machine just
decided not to accept them any longer. It now, apparently, in a total rage of
indiscrimination, has decided to block half a dozen more from my viewing,
perhaps thinking it in my best interest, who knows? Hoping some of this will
clear up now that the holidays are over. Marla, if my machine decides to take
you out, best wishes with your party next summer.

Probably AOLs super filtering software taking a huge bite outta Usenet ngs.
With AOL it's either feast or famine -- definitely NOT a real ISP. I just
cannot understand why so many folks still insist on connecting to both the
internet and Usenet by using AOL...so many other options are available.

Just think of each of us as a Billy Pilgrim, living life as a collection of
simultaneous events, experiencing each moment in no particular sequence. It
certainly makes for bizarre conversations.
