BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 4, 2003--ProMutual Group, the
leading provider of medical malpractice insurance in New England, has
voted John M. Crowe, MD, to its Board of Directors.
Dr. Crowe formerly served as the Chair of the Surgery Department
of Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton, Massachusetts. Prior to
that, he held the same position at Goddard Memorial Hospital in
Stoughton, Massachusetts, beginning in 1979.
Dr. Crowe presently serves as the Chair of the Massachusetts
Medical Society and Alliance Charitable Foundation. He is also a
member of the American Medical Association, American College of
Surgeons and the New England Surgical Society.
Dr. Crowe has received many honors, including the Massachusetts
Medical Society Physician of the Year in 1999 and the Plymouth
District Medical Society Clinician of the Year in 2003. He attended
Dartmouth College, Dartmouth Medical School and Harvard Medical
School. In addition, he served as a surgeon in the United States Air
Force.
