Things are different from jurisdiction to jurisdiction.

This case is not relevant to Ontario.

In Ontario, two types of Crown Wardship Orders can be made - without access
for the purpose of adoption, and with access if adoption is not being
considered - often for older children.

Where an order for Crown Wardship is made, and the child is not adopted, a
natural parent can make an aapplication to have access, or to have the Crown
Wardship order terminated and the child returned, where there has been a
material change in circumstannces since the making of the last order, and
the change would be in the best interests of the child.

As always this is general advice, and follow up with a lawyer is always
recommended.

Well, duh, Doug. I think most folks posting to this NG understand that Canada
is a soverign nation.

Not at all under the laws of the United States. That is why the headline
states OH.

Oh, and by the way---the apellation in the US is the Supreme Court of the
United States---not the Supreme Court of North America.

OH= Ohio.
