Her father is in prison......snipped.
So sorry that has happened to you, must be a horrible to live with.
Actually my daughter is ok with this decision.
Ah, my assumption was wrong (minor).
The bc does not ask for the biological father. My husband was the legalfather and since he had more concern for her well being than her own fatherhis name was on the bc. Legally this is correct.
Same with my documents. Only you have the answers should your child ever
contact you. I am so proud and grateful to my birthmom for telling me this
despite her fears.
I am the one who makes sure her family is updated about our history.
That is good of you and nice that her parents are open to your contact with
them to pass along the info. I am again making an assumption... that "she" is
a minor.... when I ask, do you know if they are documenting the info for her?

Whatever bless you (sorry, I'm an atheist). I still can't get info and my
bmom is the only one that can provide it. Maybe one day she will, but I'm
not keeping my fingers crossed.

Well, it was but is in the past. I made a stupid mistake and dealt
with/deal with it.

She deserves to be told the truth. One reason I made sure her adoptive
parents would always be open with the fact that she is adopted. I think it
would be a nasty shock to find out at a much older age.

Oh yes, im sorry. I thought I had mentioned that. She is a minor child.
Her parents are just wonderful. They have been great about me sending
updated photos of her sisters etc.. The document everything I send for her.
She also has a brother who is adopted and they both enjoy looking through
their birthmoms 'things' and comparing/sharing.
