I have an employee who has been consistently late since she has been hired. I also had an issue about two weeks after she was hired, accusing someone of doing something inappropiate . She has recently become pregnant and has not showed up for work for the past two weeks. In a conversation with my receptionist she said I can't do anything about it anyway because she was pregnant. Any advice as to how to handle this situation?

Um, comsider her to have voluntarily resigned her position. Sorry, being pregnant does not entitle you to any special treatment. You absolutely can fire someone who is pregnant, just not because they are pregnant. I'd send a certified letter letting her know you accepting her voluntary resignation by way of job abandonment effective whatever her first day out was. Send COBRA or other applicable paperwork along with it.

Since you did not initiate this I would avoid classifying it as you terminating her. She failed to show up or call for two weeks. That pretty much shows you her intentions right there.
