We have had the request for medicals and will delay them due to the
other half becoming pregnant. Obviously we have to notify the ASPC
through the change of circumstances form.
Questions are
1. will ASPC
automatically add our new arrival (upon birth) to our application? ie is
there much to do in terms of form filling?
2. What type of medical
will the new arrival have to undergo?
3. How long should we wait before
subjecting him/her to the medical?
Any assistance is greatly
appreciated.
Cheers,
Majj

Apparently, you send in a certified copy of
the birth certificate and 4 passport photos to ASPC who in return send
out medical forms for your baby.
ASPC also accept scanned and emailed
copies of change in circumstances forms etc.
However, I will still
speak to a doc to see when he recommends doing the medical on a baby.

Majj

Hi,
we recently added our new born to our application. We sent the
following to DIMIA to include the baby in our application.
1. Form 1022
(change of circumstance)
2. Four Passport-sized photos
3. Certified copy
of birth certificate
4. Passport Bio-pages of the baby's passport.
Also
we underwent meds along with the baby (4 months). The check-up for the
baby is fairly simple. They asked us for the immunization schedule and
the weight/height/head circumference chart. Little physical checkup and
thats it. dont worry.

Hi all,
I
am in the same case, my wife was pregnant during the application. Now,
the baby is around one month and we sent a letter together with the
cerified copy of birth cert., passport photos and Form 1022. We have
not sent the baby's passport bio-pages as it was not ready.
1. Is
passport bio-pages is a must ?
2. Should I wait for the request from
DIMIA for baby's medical, or we undergone baby's medical check first and
submit it to DIMIA ? For the latter, any form required ?
3. Should my
wife undergone x-ray and submit it to DIMIA, as she didn't during
pregnancy ?
Your help is much appreciated.
Derek.
