What's a "traiter"?

Figures, and so telling that that would be your only response, your unfunny

Subject: Letter from a Senior Citizen

.. . . . It's important to understand everyone's view before you vote.

I am a senior citizen. During the Clinton Administration I had an extremely
good and well paying job. I took numerous vacations and had several
vacation homes.

Since President Bush took office, I have watched my entire life change for
the worse. I lost my job. I lost my two sons in that terrible Iraqi War. I
lost my homes. I lost my health insurance. As a matter of fact, I lost
virtually everything and became homeless.

Adding insult to injury, when the authorities found me living like an
animal, instead of helping me, they arrested me. I will do anything to
insure President Bush's defeat in the next election.

I will do anything that Senator Kerry wants, to insure that a Democrat is
back in the White House come next year. Kerry will prevent the same thing
from happening to others like me. Bush has to go.

I just thought you and your readers would like to know how one senior
citizen views the Bush Administration.

Thank you for taking the time to read my letter.

Sincerely,
Saddam Hussein

You could add Bin Laden's name to that letter. I'm surprised Marcy didn't
offer this as further evidence of Bush's failed presidency.

Gee, and it only took the lives of over 1000 Americans, thousands of Iraquis,
and the permanent injuries of thousands more than that, yeah this was a
failure.

Actually...I think it's a little scary. Why? Because the joke is that
it reads like a letter that could plausibly be written by a US senior
citizen. The joke is the surprise when you come to the signature. It's
ostensibly pro-Bush -- but really, the implications aren't.
