A Utah woman heads back to court next month to fight to regain custody of the
baby, she says was promised to her.

SALT LAKE CITY-(KSL News) -- A Utah woman is fighting to regain the custody of
a the baby girl she thought she was going to be adopting.

"Bonnie" says she signed contact covering the mother's medical expenses for the
pregnancy and delivery in exchange for the baby.

Bonnie says when she arrived at the court-house to sign for parental rights,
she was ambushed by the baby's mother and a pair of attorneys.

She says the judge then ordered her to return the baby to the birth mother.

Bonnie says the woman then gave the baby to a local adoption agency for more
money.

I am assuming the word was supposed to be "contract" and no such contract would
be valid in any of the fifty states. "Bonnie" should have educated herself
concerning adoption law before hatching such an alleged plan with a pregnant
person.
