Can an employer force you to work holidays without paying holiday pay or overtime. Is it legal to force an employee to work the holiday at straight pay?

Yes and yes.

Within a day or so I will be posting an extended answer to the "holiday pay" questions we receive approximately a dozen times a day in the week to two weeks before and after a holiday, but for now;

There are NO holidays that an employer is required to give their employees off. As far as the law is concerned, unless you work for the Federal or state government, a holiday, any holiday, is just like any other day. There are NO requirements that you be given ANY holidays off. And in all but three states, none of which are Ohio, there are NO holidays for which you are required to be paid a premium for working.

Holiday or no holiday, your employer does not have to pay you any overtime or any premium pay unless you WORK more that 40 hours a week.

So...if I work more than 40 hours then does the employer HAVE to pay overtime?

If you WORK more than 40 hours, yes. But holiday pay is NOT counted as hours worked.
