It should be clear to the hospice (nursing home) they will soon be hit with
a multi-hundred million dollar wrongful death lawsuit from Terri's parents.
Terri has obviously been in a legal limbo with doubt and disention in every
direction from parties with a pecuniary claim. Its going to go to court
big time.

The Shindlers are going to express their sour grapes by trying to bankcrupt
everybody who in their mind has hurt their precious daughter.

So, why would a nursing home risk exposure to many times of their insurance
limits? It makes no sense. There is no risk to them to simply state they
no longer want to be a party involved in the purposeful death of a patient
whom they have for so long maintained in a healthy state.

The nursing home should announce they are dropping the patient. They
should say if Terri is going to be killed in this manner, somebody else is
going to have to do it. They should call the County Hospital and say they
are abandoning the case and request an ambulance for transport to the
County Hospital. If the County Hospital refuses, then they should wheel
her out on a gurney to the street and make an announcement that any nursing
home or other qualified institution is free to have her. They should also
hook her up to an IV to maintain her until she is transported. The Sheriff
will have no alternative than to order her taken away, but he cannot force
the hospice to take her back.

This may sound like an extreme spectacle, but the hospice would be advised
to pursue this avenue to avoid financial ruin.
