I was wondering if anyone could clarify what child neglect is?
my daughter often comes back with red privates,she has been seen by a doctor who said either her mother was not wiping her good enough or someone was touching her there.she is seeing a child counselor when with me about this issue to make sure its not sexual abuse.She also comes back and her teeth look terrible,says she doesnt brush at moms house.She is seeing a dr.tomorrow due to the fact that when she returned to me the last time she had scratches on her face and a bruise on her nose,she said her brother hit her while her mom was down at the laundry room,she complains of headaches and has had two nosebleeds since friday.

this sounds pretty serious. how old is your daughter and her brother? is mom the only adult in the house? if so and both children are young then mom should not be leaving the kids alone. you can always make a cps hotline with any concerns. i might waite until she sees the dr. and see what he sais. this will give you more info for cps. you could also go to court and request visitation with mom be stopped until the cps investigation is over. if you don't want to do that you could also request that visitation be supervised by some one you trust.
