Just wondering if anyone knew what the length of time someone has to appeal a Child support order, The order was done April 27th and the Ex and the judge and SAO, My Attorney all signed the order, Now the ex is calling me complaining about the order,
He doesnt feel that it is fair that the courts wont take into consideration he has another child that he supports, We are First Family, And when the new order was done they put that there was to be No Abatement Which originally it did abate in the summer, We agreed 10 years ago to the abatement since our daughter at the time was only 3 and he would have daycare expenses so I felt that was fair, However He has never paid for Daycare and I still have a home to maintain for her and have always paid her medical premiums during that time as well,

Mind you our support had not been looked at in 10 years as well,

He just keeps saying how this is BS and not right and that he will take care of this, I read in the State Guidlines for Illinois that it is only 20 days to appeal but wanted to make sure of this, The judge went over his income and used his taxes and paystubs to arrive at the 20%
I told him if it is that big of a deal them go ahead and file for a modification in his second case but he said he didnt want to do that and didnt want the second ex wife to get less money just because I get more, He pays her $450 a month and I was only getting $200 Untill this last court date to which the judge changed it to $550 to me

Thanks again
