Actaully Kathy, I DID make a mistake........I was trying to add the ngs to
my Outlook Express in the same manner as I had them on the crashed computer,
but this apparently wasn't one of them....and my message went to all of the
adoption ngs.
My old hard drive was set up to post as Sherilyn if I am not mistaken.
You asked me "Where in Ohio".and my anser is that I am FROM Columbus, but
now living in Chillicothe. I found my biological family in late Decemeber
1999 and reunited in early 2000 after I had time to heal from my
father-in-law's passing which occured in late December 1999.
As for "thick skin"........I've got a few layers of it :-)
Nice to meet you.
Warm regards,
Sheri

Sheri, perhaps you thought all of the alt.adoption newsgroups are linked? I've been posting and/or lurking here since 1997 and can't recall seeing your name. So, an announcement that your computer was on the blink and that's why you haven't been here doesn't make much sense. Perhaps where you posted on usenet before was huggy/kissy, but alt.adoption is not. It's fun, downright hysterical, but NOT hugs and kisses, FYI.I have been around these ngs since late 1998.and these are clear examplesofwhy I rarely ever post. Have you posted to this particular newsgroup? There are people who have been here since long before that, and nobody seems to recall your name.In any case, my name is Sheri and I am a reunited adoptee from the stateofOhio. Where in OH? I'm a reunited adoptee, found by my bmom, from Cleveland, OH. I haven't lived in OH since I was about 10 years old though.
At one time or another I bet we'll all be negative. Thick skin goes a long way. Kathy, born Renee Karyn Racine Baltimore, Here I come
