That's not necessarily true of all nmothers, and is something that
can't be assumed.
Alhough it's probably true for the majority, it's also possible that
some of these women simply never wanted to have children. It would be
unlikely that such women would bother to come forward to participate
in studies.
They may not be a significant number, but if that number can't be
quantified it's still going to skew the results.

I also said that not all of those who had no further children were infertile, that for many it was their fear of getting pregnant again after such a dreadful first experience that caused them to remain childless - which was why many terminated any subsequent pregnancy. Now what part of that can't you comprehend?

Fair enough. Although surely after years of open records we would have
come across an adopted person somewhere who searched and found a
mother who gave that as her reason for not having other children.
Perhaps a small percentage didn't want any at all, but until we find
even one it's all speculation on your part that they would make up
even a small percentage of those figures.
Which category do you fall under btw? What was the reason for your own
19 year delay that caused you to eventually adopt rather than go the
usual route?
