I adopted my wife's daughter when she was five. Not a good idea. I now
know why most people in second familys choose to remain step-parents.
She is now twenty. I am in Ohio. What is involved in having the
adopton annuled? Probably more difficult than a divorce, no? Thanks,
___

I assume your intent is to avoid financial obligations arising out of the
divorce?

I'm very distressed lately. Almost afraid I may have a breakdown or
something.I may have spoken much too soon. I have by no means made any
decisions whatsoever. I love her very much. This is a lifelong decision
I made and I'll have to stick with it. I can't make her like me but
maybe someday she will. Regards, ___
