Neither do I - and not just going on my own bmom's experience (she had twochildren after me) - I've been in contact with other bmoms (one of which isa SIL) and they've ALL had kids after relinquishing. Granted, this certainlyisn't a large number of individuals, but I still don't believe that thishappens to the majority of bmoms. Anyone have any stats?
In my own narrow sampling, all the birthmothers of whom I personally know, not
one has given birth just one time. Some had children before relinquishing. Some
have had children since relinquishing. I know not one who has suffered
secondary infertitlity. However, my "sample" is probably limited to fewer than
25 women.
