Completely off topic, but this bugs me:
Assistant Genesee County Prosecutor George DeMeo relayed several portions ofletters that Barbara Kenig of Las Vegas, Warshaw's stepmother, sent to him.In the letters, Kenig said she and her husband adopted Warshaw in 1972,shortlyafter his birth in Royal Oak.


A "step" mother is a woman married to one's father after the death of one's
mother or divorce. How can this woman be his "step" mother and, yet, "she and
her husband adopted" Warshaw shortly after his birth?

Getting back on topic--was this guy doomed by nature or nurture? Both?
Neither?
