Hi,

Some of you may remember me. I used to practically live here, back in
the Celesta days. Helped get rid of her. :) I'm a birthmother and a
birthsister, was reunited with both my daughter and my brother, Bonnie
found me in October 98, Darren found me in January 99. I now have two
granddaughters, Kodi, age six, and Fallon, age 1 and a half.

Anyways, reason I am writing.

I'm getting married in November to a widower in Texas with four sons.
He would like me to adopt the boys in case anything should happen to
him. I am all for this. We're wondering where to start on this
process, what sort of fees we're looking at as far as the state goes,
etc. Any ideas where to look? Would we need to hire a stinkin' lawyer,
or could we handle this ourselves, since the only parent is basically
just saying: "Hello, mind if I add my wife to the mix here?"

Talk about experiencing it from all angles. Birthmother, birthsister.
Now a-mom.
