Hi,

I do know of a few sights that you can go to, but you really should try
and wait till you are 18, if at all possible. I believe any search, of a
minor adoptee, that was done might be illegal if done by anyone other
than yourself. Anyway, those sites won't do you much good unless you
know a little of your history.

I know that three years is a long time to wait for you, but it will
pass. Hang in there, after you are an adult you can ask the agency that
you were adopted from for your nonidentified info of your birth.
(depending on the state you were adopted from). Or you can petition the
courts for your adoption papers. Don't think that you can actually get
this in all states, but maybe things will change in 3 years.

If there are no abusive problems in your adoptive parent's home, please
ignore the next advice.

If you are having problems that are serious, (not usual parent and teen
stuff) that is physically, emotionally, or otherwise abusive in your
home, please let someone know. Please do not be afraid to do this. Let a
trusted teacher or counselor at school know. If you cannot get anyone to
listen to you, please call childrens protective services in your area.
