My Husband and I bought a home about 1 year ago, in Wyoming. This is our first spring where we can do anything for the yard. We have a dirt driveway that gets pretty muddy, I filled in a pot hole, the neighbor yelled at me twice over it. the property line goes down the driveway which is open and we planned on extending the fence and graveling our side of the driveway. We had some blocks up and a string from the fence down the driveway. The neighbors Grown son kicked over our blocks and threw the marker string away. They say we cannot do anything with out haveing a survay done. We found out 2 days after this that the people we bought the house from did a survay. The neighbor and her grown son were there and agreed upon the property line our fence was put on. However, the survay was never stamped. I am at a loss as of what to do. It is our property we are doing this on.

Do what you want. You have the survey- so what it has no stamp. You can go back to the company that did it and get a stampeed copy.

Elklaw- I just wanted to say thank you we did get an extention on our fence. We have been busy so moving slow on the work needing done.

The survay that was done was done by the gentleman (himself)we purchased from. The neighbor and her son were there while he was doing it, actually participating. Everybody was in agreement with the line. Still ok? This weekend we are scraping our driveway. What do we do if they start up on us again? Or start messing with our fence? I hate confrontation. Any advice greatly appreciated
