Court to rule on adoptive parents
The Tel Aviv District Court will deliver its verdict today on whether an
adoptive parents couple should be given legal standing in the disputed custody
case of their adopted son. The verdict will be delivered behind closed doors in
the presence of the biological parents and lawyers for both parties. Family
Court ruled three weeks ago that the 13-month-old toddler be handed over to his
biological parents, but the adoptive parents appealed the verdict, demanding
that they be given legal standing so they can argue that the child's welfare
dictates he remain with the only parents he has known. (Ruth Sinai)

A good friend will come and bail you out of jail . . . but, a true friend will
be sitting next to you saying, "Damn . . . that was fun!"
