View Full Version : In IA Switched to Salary as a way to force overtime?

Recently my employer has switched my co-workers and I from an hourly wage to salary. We are pretty sure that the reason for doing this is to force overtime while not having to pay for it. My co-workers and I have pretty labor intensive jobs printing shirts and such. My employer is already stating that he expects at least 45 hours per week.

Is there anything wrong with doing this?

Any help would be more than appreciated.

If it makes any difference my job is definitly considered manual labor ( repetitive motion, phsical skill, energy, etc. etc.)
