<rant>This is a perennial rant of mine, the "if you're going to have kids,take the time to raise them" rant, but I do realize it is a luxurydespite what you write below and the similar choices my family hasmade. What breaks my heart is to see two parents who are away fromhome 50+ hours a week who then adopt children only to have them raisedby a cavalcade of nannies, some of the kids ending up in militaryacademies because no one wanted to deal with them then, why shouldanyone want to deal with them now? Sigh.</rant>
