I am confused...
Is it legal (enforceable) for a Doctor to have a waiver (in the intake
paperwork) limiting "any" malpractice claims to $10,000?
Does anyone know any pertinent cases or codes?

I don't know the code, but I have been asked to sign such waivers, myself, and
refused. I don't believe anyone can be made to sign away their legal rights
when they go to a doctor's office. Anyway, when I refused to sign--the point
wasn't pressed.
