My son was hit by another employee while on the job, causing 3 fractures to his face and requiring surgery. He was working at a factory thru Manpower, a temporary employement agency. Manpower said it was not w/c because it was a personal injury, really it'd be a bodily injury. The person who hit him was a full time employee of the factory. He was on house arrest for assualt and battery. His foreman admitted to not knowing what to do so both of them were sent home. My son was not sent for medical treatment, he had to take himself the next day. Now he has medical bills and no income.

It is subject to workers' compensation coverage, though coverage can be denied if your son was found to be partially or fully at fault. You can read more about workers compensation in Indiana, including the appeal process, at: http://www.in.gov/workcomp/

Make sure that you jump on this right away...you won't have a lot of time for appeals.
