I am currently employed in NYC and on FMLA due to a chronic illness. My company allows 100% of full pay for Short Term Dbl for 6mos. If I go out on Short Term Disability, can I be laid off if there is company downsizing? Please advise.

Yes, they can, if it is due to business reasons and they are not singling you out for a discriminatory reason. Let me know if you have any other questions.
