I AM DESPERATE FOR HELP FOR MY DAUGHTER FOR CHILD SUPPORT FOR HER DAUGHTER, ( MY GRANDDAUGHTER).THEY LIVE IN MICHAIGN AND IT SEEMS THE COURTS ARENT DOING ANYTHING TO ENFORCE CHILD SUPPORT IN FACT HER X HUSBAND IS HAVING ANOTHER CHILD WITH HIS GIRLFRIEND AND MY DAUGHTERS X HUSBAND KEEPS TAKING MY DAUGHTER BACK TO COURT TO HAVE CHILD SUPPORT LOWERED AND THE JUDGES ARE DOING THIS.MY DAUGHTERS X HUSBAND HAS QUIT HIS JOB SO MY DAUGHTER ISNT GETTING A SUPPORT AT ALL.THE COURTS ARENT EVEN TELLING TO GET A JOB THEY JUST LOWER CHILD SUPPORT ORDERS.HE IS IN AREARS OF 1.500 AND THE COURTS ARENT DOING ANYTHING ABOUT THAT EITHER. I AM THE GRAND MOTHER AND I LIVE IN NEW JERSEY AND IM LOOKING FOR HELP FOR THEM. :mad:

Why don't you have your daughter file a enforcement child support order. the fee in michigan I believe is $60.00 then they will go from there and schedule a court date and if dad does not attend they willissue a bench warrent out for his arrest. but if dad is eveb paying 5.00$ a month the courts willnot do anything about it because he is at least making an effort.

mom 26, she has been to court many times and the courts know he is not paying and they still havent done anything. the courts know hes in arrears and does nothing. the courts in michaign seem to be lousy. here in jersey we have strick laws on child support. one of the best laws around is what i read on the internet. the kids come first. my daughters x has taken my daughter back to court so many times i lost count. it seems everything goes the x way. thanks for writting back. re-re
