When Cindy found out that there is a such a thing as visits etc she was upset..

So she was okay with it until she found out that others had a different type
of open adoption? There is no unilateral definition of open adoption other
than the participants are nown to each other.

The deep betrayal came in IMO when the book was written.. And she was not allowed to speak out..

Sure she was.

She tried to speak out on adoption.com and was stopped..

She could have gone to another forum.

She was not able to tell the world she was wronged..

Sure she was.
She was not able to tell her story to the public at large..

Sure she was.
Threats were made..

Disgusting if it is true.

She was told she had an open adoption and she learned that she had a semi open adoption..

It appears from what you have said that she was okay with it until she
learned others had different types of "open" adoptions.
I believe this is what pisses me off the most.. She had to keep quiet on the promise of a picture or a video or the sound of her daughters voice..

A terrible situation to be in. She had to decide what was more important to
her - vindication or continued contact with her daughter.

I guess Cindy was not getting what she wanted from her relationship
with Susan..

Yes she could have spoken out and she *may* have lost her chance to
see her daughter grow.. Through pictures and videos..

Hard trade off..
She tried to speak out on adoption.com and was stopped..She could have gone to another forum.

She went to a private group.. I think..

Apparently Susan Burns is going on 20/20.. She was going to talk about
fast track adoption..
Apparently Cindy was upset about that..

(please note this is all hearsay)

I know there was a point when I wanted to shout my anger to the
world.. I am glad I was not stopped..
She was not able to tell the world she was wronged..Sure she was.

The cost was very high.. Susan Burns wrote a book and set herself up
as an expert..
She was not able to tell her story to the public at large..Sure she was.Threats were made..Disgusting if it is true.

Yup.. But that is what she told a friend of hers.. That is why she
left adoption.com..
She was told she had an open adoption and she learned that she had a semi open adoption..It appears from what you have said that she was okay with it until shelearned others had different types of "open" adoptions.

Yes.. She wanted more.. She wanted her son to have contact with the
little girl.. She wanted to hear her voice..
I believe this is what pisses me off the most.. She had to keep quiet on the promise of a picture or a video or the sound of her daughters voice..A terrible situation to be in. She had to decide what was more important toher - vindication or continued contact with her daughter.

Yes.. And when a person adds depression into the mix there are
problems..
