Hello, I have a question about a Minor in Consumption. I live in North Dakota and I have just gotten my 3rd MIC at a party that was busted by "party patrol", a police unit that spends there time busting underage drinking when they could be trying to solve bigger problems in ND, maybe something like meth labs? Ugh

Sorry, anyways my question is when I recieved my 2nd MIC in July, the judge gave me 10 days jail time suspended for one year, well obviously since this was in the same year they might try to give me this. How can I work a plea bargain where I will only get a weekend in jail? Or even just have more suspended time added on? I'd gladly take a weekend in jail but since I am a full time student and have a part-time job and I cannot believe they would even think about giving me 10 days in jail for something as minor as underage drinking.

It's not just a little thing. It's three things and you've already got two warnings and jail time pending. I hope you go to jail. I heard they have awesome parties in there. :)

Suspended usually means that you do not go to jail, meaning you received a sentence in jail and that serving it time wise was suspended. If you are not sure, talk to a public defender and I think you may need to get some alcohol awareness counseling as this sounds like a lifestyle choice maybe you should not be making.
